Imagine our surprise when we were sent these update pics featuring the two AMAZING Marvel Portfolios of David Nakayama!

UPDATE TIME!

When we launched our line of Marvel art books as an ongoing series we knew that we would have several books at various stages of production at the same time. We are getting very close to the point where our first two volumes will be published and rewards will be fulfilled. The Marvel Art of David Mack and The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev are currently on press. It is only a matter of weeks now until the finished products reach our warehouse and we can begin sending them out. Here's an update from the printer on the printing process:

Once these two books are through the printing process, The Marvel Art of David Nakayama is ready and next up! There will be no rest for the presses!

And we recently wrapped up our Kickstarter campaign for The Marvel Art of Russell Dauterman. We've mentioned it before, but we learned quite a bit on our first two campaigns in this line. We started working with Russell long before the campaign launched, and the design of the book is well underway. We think you'll find this campaign will move much quicker that our first two.

And finally, we launched our newest Kickstarter for the next book in the series: The Marvel Art of Michael Turner! Following the same format as our previous volumes, this will be an all encompassing collection of almost EVERYTHING that Michael Turner created for Marvel. Plus we have some amazing exclusive extras, like trading cards, art prints and even a puzzle! You can check it out HERE.

We will keep you up to date on the process of all of these books as we hit various milestones. We try not to send non-updates, but we also know you're anxious to receive your books and rewards. 

This is shaping up to be an excellent series. We are so excited to see them on your shelves! We appreciate your support and patience as we make these stunning new art books.

Thanks all for your patience! We're pleased to update you all that this book is just about ready to go off to the printer! It took some time to get here, and we wish we got here faster, but we're so very happy with the end result. We needed to secure approvals internally, from Marvel, and of course, from David.

We'll update you with pictures every step of the way. As we've said before, we don't want to post non-update updates, but we also understand that for a book that is so eagerly anticipated, it might feel like forever in between updates. They should come more frequently leading up to fulfillment.

And today, we have a special surprise for all backers - we've added an amazing foldout to the book!

In the meantime, you may have seen we've started to make some noise about our latest campaign, launching soon. We're doing some fun and different things for this project. Stay tuned!

GREAT NEWS!

First pass of full design is complete and with David for review. He’s reviewing layout and choices, and will work with our art director to finalize the pages. Then the book goes off to Marvel for review and sign off, and then off to the printer. It may sound simple, but this will still take a little bit of time. The biggest chunk is behind us, and the other elements of the campaign are well underway. Gettin' in the swing of things!

We’re running a little late on the Clover side, but catching up. Thanks for your patience and support on this campaign!
